twas longer than expected because i crimped that last cable (from router to switch) backwards LOL but here we are now. i'd love to show some speed tests but i don't have any other 2.5Gbps equipment so this is the closest i got.

(for context my PC has a 2.5Gbit port and i have the switch for it, but the rest of my servers are still at 1 Gbit)

@autumn you could try like running two iperfs to two servers at the same time or something

@chfour nahhh im just happy that its reporting 2.5 properly tbh i crimped all these cables myself so they could be a bit fucked LOL

@autumn it negotiated so i guess it should be fine.. maybe watch out for tx/rx errors or smth but ethernet is magic it should be fine
