Don't wanna get aps-c lenses anymore because what if i give in and buy a ff, but ~50mm lenses on aps-c are really hard to use and that's what i'd wanna use on ff
Ig i'll just stop buying lenses until i've made up my mind.
Tbh ig my lens selection isn't even bad, i just want a sharper portrait lens than the meike

@snacks i looked into getting a ff too and other than better for night photography i dont really see myself needing ittt, and out of the 3 lenses i have only one is asp-c specific but i still dont really think ill get a ff unless its an older cheaper model. theyre just sooo expensive

@autumn ot'd mostly be for higher iso and ibis for me too, even in decent light the a6000 can be a bit annoying with my 500mm lens . there's also a lot of nice glass at ~50mm

@snacks 500mm goood damn, i think a weird good thing about asp-c is that that 500mm kinda translates to a bit more zoom just because of the crop lmao. it also culminates in these super funny things like Canon selling a 28mm EF-S (EF is normal mount, compatible with ff & ASP-C, EF-S is ASP-C only) that translates to 42mm. same viewing angle as the human eye haha

@snacks @autumn samyang lenses are incredible value from what i can tell

but they only go up to 150mm for E mount… (they’re more geared towards filmmakers but that also means they perform exceptionally well in low light and with wide open aperture)
