What they're setting up here is obviously a twist where some part of Ralsei's existence goes against the prophecy and/or what he's made himself out to be, he could be a lightner, a titan, a goner, whatever else. If it turns out the resolution to this setup is that he's a girl and that contradicts the part of the prophecy that calls for a prince I will be in fucking awe.
