does anyone have any good uses for surface tablets that are too slow to actually wanna use? oomf suggested monitoring homelab stuff with them but feels a bit wasteful idk... im considering it tho, or even as a digital picture frame 😭

@autumn waydroid was Alright on my surface pro 1 and 5. i think if i actually put in the work it could be good

@autumn surface stuff usually needs the linux-surface kernel if you havent tried that

@mothcompute i have yeah i just use gnome and its kinda just annoying to use as purely a tablet.

@mothcompute ill try using it with windows i think that's the only OS that's actually good at desktop/tablet due to maturity
