@autumn you kinda nerdsniped me and i tried to figure out why acetone is generally The nail polish remover and while i didnt really find out exactly why (perhaps acetone breaks down nail polish best?) wikipedia has this to say:
The most common remover is acetone. Acetone can also remove artificial nails made of acrylic or cured gel.
An alternative nail polish remover is ethyl acetate, which often also contains isopropyl alcohol. Ethyl acetate is usually the original solvent for nail polish itself.

@chfour i remember at the shops that you could get with and without acetone and i was wondering about the differences, then i figured isoprophyl is Strong Shit so it could probably get it done.
