i did all this "detective work" yesterday trying to recover the serial number of my switch and recreate a label for it after i shell swapped it about 2 years ago. and then i realised that the serial number exists in firmware.

in fairness. the 3ds does not do that.

anyway heres my work, i didn't bother finding the right font i just used adwaita mono because that looked cool, found out what type of barcode the serial number uses too, its code128. theres 3mm of spacing on each of it too. if anyone actually cares about doing this because, again, it's in Firmware. (don't mind the joycon shell, the screw was stripped and i had to drill it out 😭)
