the deets (long) @detondev so i had been using the same skincare routine since i was 18, and it didn't really work then but i didn't have the motivation to change it, but i just went back to the drawing board and made no assumptions about my skin. and found out that actuallly my assumptions were wrong, my skin type had changed from oily+dry to just dry.

the way to check is by washing your face with only water, drying with a towel, and then waiting about an hour and seeing what happens. does your skin produce oil? does it feel tight (dry)? is there a combination of stuff happening based on where? (e.g i had oily skin on my nose and forehead (the T-Zone) and dry cheeks)

after that i just ordered products, i made sure that i addressed some concerns that i didn't address previously. so i didn't have any sunscreen before, so i ordered a moisturiser with protection (even if a majority of the days here in the UK are cloudy there's always benefits to using it).

and for me it's just the same process as before, in the shower i wash my face of excess oil from sleep, using the cleanser (for dry skin!) and then after getting out brushing my teeth first and putting the moisturiser on.

i think my results ended up coming after a few weeks but there's a big difference from then and now. i also have this liquid exfoliate that i wanna use more for blackheads (the black spots on your nose) but i've been lazy about it.

if you want product details i can drop but idk if they'll apply to you it's very dependent on the person and their goals
