Two Hollywood Phonies (@autumn)

Huh, I went for a walk around town and I found a… Korean grocery shop? It would be unremarkable if I was in the East Asian part of the city centre, but this was, like on the high street. It was really modern and minimalist, I originally thought it was some kind of tech shop (a là the Apple store)!

They sold noodles, snacks, meat, frozen stuff, chilled stuff, and some homeware. It felt like a real grocery shop as opposed to an exoticised mystical Easterner experience

No idea if it’s a chain, but it’s called Oseyo

I bought some pocky, which appears to be imported from Thailand lol

@autumn nope! It’s right on New St, like the most prime part. Right in the middle section, opposite the Odeon

@yassie_j ohh never been there, i remember there was a store like that though next to i think where papa johns is, in between those 2 student accomodation(?) buildings down there lol

@autumn there’s a whole bunch of student acco now! Too many. They’re even knocking down old office blocks for it
