@twilight @autumn i mean /dev is just a regular ass mount point with a funky filesystem you can just unmount that and create a file named null there (not that your system would like that, but you could)

@autumn @twilight unrelated but if you unmounted dev you could absolutely place files on there and mount dev back in and literally nobody would realize they were there if they didn't look at the partition from another OS
