@autumn the german system is kinda fucked. like its universal so you legally cannot not have health insurance but also still privatised so the health insurance is crap (i am paying market price for prescription medicines and doctors can prioritise "private" patients that pay directly without involving health insurance) and if you cant afford paying for it you just go further and further into debt for each month you dont pay

@autumn like the nhs is in a sorry state but purely assuming that the uk government could just not be filled with the worst people alive murdering thousands through the sheer levels of austerity, it could be a functional healthcare system

the german one is just fundamentally crap and throwing more money at it wont impact anything but the profits of the healthcare liches

@autumn its tolerable, i havent died so far and sometimes the care is even okay depending on the doctor

(ok heavily depending on the doctor. they could be prescribing me enough for 3 months but because the front desk people are fucking stupid they prescribe me enough of one medication i take once a day for 3 months and a different medication i need 3 a day of for only one month so now i have a huge surplus of one medication but pay 3 times the fees and lose out on bulk-pricing since im paying for 2 boxes every month instead of 4 boxes every 3 months)

@autumn once im there to discuss the results of an mri i need to get thanks to quite honestly criminal negligience on their part (like there are government advisories not to prescribe me this medication at such a high dosage specifically because it can cause benign brain tumors) i do plan to discuss maybe being transferred to a different doctor because they are too far away to be this incompetent. i do not have time to go there in person just to argue for half an hour and get the wrong prescription anyway every fucking month
