@detondev yeah it's also realising that people aren't annoyed by you and if you pop up to chat with them they'll probably be very happy to

it's also one thing to learn these skills, and another to traverse the hill of anxiety around doing it, like i know that people aren't annoyed if i do something normal, but sometimes i still struggle to take that next step to actually doing it.

@ralen the believing is the hard part. i still struggle with that myself so i can't offer any wisdom, but what helped was just kind of taking a leap of faith and just going for it though. you kind of have to do that if you want to get anywhere with that specific thing that's causing you anxiety.
