watching a video about an artisan gun workshop and slowly getting a vibe of "oh this workshop peaked during the time of colonialism", like seeing the hand carvings of rhinos, giraffes etc, and then having the guy explain "they did this so that the gun wouldn't rust in Africa or India" ohhhhhh lord
