people will resist using flatpaks for as long as there's no simple way to set permanent access to paths for flatpak apps

if i have an audio player, i shouldn't open settings or some random app to give it access to my music folders that may or may not be stored on another disk or pen drive, there should be a way to just open file picker and give it access

@halva after using macOS i wish they just did it like that where there's a popup that asks "do you want to let app access your user files?" when it detects the app is tryin to access them. thats so much nicer.

@halva flatseal is good for granular control but for sake of user experience its better to just have that or even "will you let app access PATH" that type of thing, and then going into settings to adjust those rather than you need to KNOW what it needs to access and then give it to that.
