omg wtf i was trying out something called stylix which is something to do with colour schemes with NixOS, i think the idea is that you're able to make everything themed a certain way, anyway there's a test command that i thought i would run and i was like "oh it's just gonna change my wallpaper or whatever, just like pywal" and it BOOTED UP A VM TO GIVE ME A DEMO 😭

If stylix.base16Scheme is undeclared, Stylix generates a color scheme based on the wallpaper using a genetic algorithm. Note that more colorful images tend to yield better results. The algorithm's polarity can be schewed towards a dark or light theme with: { stylix.polarity = "dark"; } { stylix.polarity = "light"; } The generated color scheme can be viewed at /etc/stylix/palette.html on NixOS, or at ~/.config/stylix/palette.html on Home Manager.

okay im not using stylix it sets some fuck ass plymouth theme that i can't seem to disable 😭 and does too much to gnome that i don't like i would rather do all that shit manually tbh
