i know theres lineageos but i want my phone to do cool shit . i know i can root but i don't exactly trust myself with root more in the "banking and whatever apps" sense and i know theres methods to hide root but also like the "hardware verification" side and shit
i know theres custom forks of lineage or whatever with the cool shit minus root but to find one that looks nice
theres also just plain old graphene too i suppose

i suppose also calyx but idk what happened because all i remember is graphene being the "Ultra Paranoid Unusable ROM" and the dev being a dickhead or something but now its like nobody talks about calyx and everyone uses graphene . or am i getting it wrong

@sneexy i think nobody talks about calyx because its just lineageOS with microG included and locked bootloader. from what i remember it was fine to use but microG was really annoying sometimes when notifs wouldnt be delivered because of some change google made. i think everyone just uses graphene because it works better (at least thats the reason i switched)

also graphene used to have a painful load time penalty for all of the stuff they do but its basically unnoticeable on current hardware
