@laikaplush honestly hosting your own pds or using another one is the biggest thing you can do i think. that and having your account use did:web instead of did:plc (but I've still not figured that out either)
@laikaplush honestly i think its a lot more feasible than a lot of how fediverse operates, and there are steps you can take to make it so you bsky account is a lot less reliant on bsky as a company
