i remember buying the intel for the sake of battery life and then was able to find a socket in every single situation i was put into since that decision . and i think the amd one is just Better in every conceivable way now .
@esm@skyeweeb arm64 linux servers have basically been the default and cheaper options within providers like AWS, Google Cloud etc, for years now. even before companies like ampere made ARM cpus with large core-counts, amazon was doing that with graviton for years before. i'm surprised windows server on arm hasn't been a thing for a while.
@karebu@fiore i used to be the same but i use zen and ive got a "security profile" thats default and clears cookies/history whatever, and then a normal profile for convenience
