if anyone's interested then the instructions are from this book "Michael G. LaFosse's Origami Butterflies: A Field of Discovery Through a System of Design" by Richard Alexander, Greg Mudarri
it's still not perfect, the body of the butterfly isn't correct and neither is the head. i need to practise those two aspects, but i'm proud enough to put this on my wall with the rest of my butterflies !
big news . i just read the instructions for doing a process again, and it's told me that "the line might not always be in the center" and i was under the impression that if it wasn't in the center then i had to make another fold to make sure it's in the center. this could be the root of all issues.
