@doskel@halva i mean i CAN use it outside but i can't be directly in the sun, even with the sun facing away from me its usable but darker things i still need to squint for. the glossy screen also doesn't help.
if you've got a matte screen or the high refresh (since its 500nits) then its a lot better of an experience i assume
@doskel@halva no its more about light sensitivity, for example if you look up at the sky on a sunny day you might find it harder to look at without your eyes hurting (or without squinting) than someone with a darker colour
@halva@doskel metal thinkpads are great because they're all black too and the finish never seems to rub off (i had an x1 carbon 2nd gen with a tough life before me and i couldn't see any of the raw metal underneath) ive never had the framework issue though, mainly because 400 nits isnt good enough for me to see the screen in sunlight
