@kopper mmm yeah that makes sense, i assume that doskel would have more followers from instances that i'm already federating with too so that could also be a factor
@doskel slow cooker implies that it's intended to be like that . i would say it's more of a broken oven that leaks heat, it'll still cook everything but it's gonna take 4x the amount of time
could it be that doskel's (the first person i was referring to) instance nicely trickles in the packets because it doesn't have the capacity to blast it
someone with 1000 followers boosts my post, doesn't slow down anything. another person with a lot of followers (i assume ???) does and it slows shit down
you should not be able to make modern looking websites with php every php website should be stuck looking like something made in 2009 with IE compatibility
i mean guess it makes sense from the perspective of misskey because it's either like or react whatever but it's fun that ap has so much variety that funny issues like this happen because of software (but i bet it's fucking horrible and shit and impossible to actually make anything for it)
thought chuckya-fe fucked up somewhere but i checked on shrimp-fe and i reacted 3 different things to a post, and checked original instance (sharkey) to find that only the last one was there
i've never learnt about UPnP in my networking classes, i wish i did though it seems like there's an issue here with it. if i knew what was going on then i might be able to fix it myself
ughhhh something to do with my router or something. i wonder why this is an issue on mac specifically and not any of my Linux stuff because that's all working between each other, it's just the Mac that's having issues.
