@fiore idk i think this course is also just really good for helping me understand, as well as I did another one before this that was computer fundamentals if i tried to understand anoth3r language i probably wouldn't struggle as much as i did before
@fiore also the way fiorecraft insists on vanilla features like lodestones and all of that stuff is so awesome to me i wanna see if i can implement something like that but it might become really cumbersome if the world ends up being massive and stupid
@fiore nooo it's less about machines and more about exploring and stuff. i actually got the idea from a server me and an irl did last year where he had made a custom mod to tie ore generation per biome, and then creating super difficult biomes where diamonds and iron spawn. and making a fully custom map so you spawn in a safe area where monsters don't spawn and you have to venture out to get materials.
my idea was to have that but with a map of the world, fully custom made with a mod like atlas, have a passport that gives you a stamp per country for exploration, and diamond would spawn in areas where it'd be difficult to get and stuff like that.
@fiore listen.... my master plan is to get this job and then through having better java experience finally make my minecraft modding dreams a reality... autumncraft will be real and it will be Awesome.
e.g payment processor, you have a PaymentProcessor interface and then whenever you want to accept payments from Credit Cards, Crypto, whatever you use the PaymentProcessor interface to ensure that a future step has all the correct information?
i think this is the first thing my python-brain is struggling to understand, it's something that is intended to ensure that if you're going to write several different "types" of class, ensures that they all implement the same stuff?
