@coolbean i think i just accept that i'm automatically less skilled than everyone and so i need to put in more time, and more deaths is just normal for me
@coolbean i dont see it that way, i think it's a measure of progress for me because you can go back and see as you've gotten more skilled, the amount of deaths shows that you either got better, or stayed the same and the levels got harder. i think the only time i compared my deaths to anyone is to my cousin but he is fucking gifted at that game
@coolbean i grinded the hell out of celeste though, i played mods that were beyond the end level of the game, but the oshiro part is still incredibly difficult because i'm really bad at tight timing. i think i've gotten the golden berries (deathless runs) levels 1, 2 and 4 because oshiro is so horrible
@coolbean i think celeste isn't that bad because the environment is predictable, like in hollow knight the enemies have predictable moves but where they'll go is still variable so you still might get fucked by some bullshit. i think in celeste it's all accounted for and in my head if im not passing a level its because i'm not skilled enough.
@coolbean you may think, how will we know if its autumn time if the alarm is hard wired like that ? i rewire it everytime i move house . im a professional ww2 radio expert .
@coolbean yes that was me, my house used to be the house of the defence minister so the ancient german alarm system still rings when whoever is in my room wakes up
