@sneexy so the installer runs and lets me install fedora asahi from the script in macos, it also lets me resize the partition (which is really cool) but if i wanted to do something sick and twisted like run NixOS on it, i would probably need to flash the image onto the ssd first
it looks like there's an option in the asahi installer to create a boot entry in the mac to point to another device for running linux off of, my question is. How do I install another OS onto it to begin with, is it just a rpi moment where i balenaetcher an arm OS image onto the SSD?
this mac is on monterey i'm gonna try update it to the latest
also there's stuff im really not used to so far like when i do "shift left arrow" it selects the entire line instead of a single word, and home/end don't work. maybe i just need to set my keyboard to macOS mode idk
