@annamaria i think thats why my dad read it in the first place 😭 i also just flipped through the pages again to see if his bookmark, the original order receipt, was still there and while unfortunately it's not, i saw the font was actually kinda big so yeah it doesn't actually feel that long.
interesting thing about this copy too, it's showing "now a major motion picture", since there was another movie made in 2002 about it and the book was originally published in 2003.
@annamaria my dad actually gave me his copy from 05 that he ordered online back then. this review actually motivates me to read it, he didn't really describe it that well but it sounds soo interesting the way u put it.. maybe in the car on the way to london...
@fish@madz258 i mean its been 5-6 years since the first m1 macs like they're just phasing out x86 support because its been so long now, and people are building everything for aarch64 now (sometimes exclusively for it)
@detondev this is actually super common, in poland/lithuania (esp lithuania who was the last pagan country to be "christianized") where there are many pagan traditions that were reworked into being christian ones.
